. . . so says the sign above the entrance to our auditorium. This doesn’t mean we believe that our love for God, our families, our church, or our neighbors is perfected yet. None of us loves like God does. But it does speak to our conviction that “God is love”. We strive to be increasingly aware of all that God’s love has made possible.
We want to be the kind of church that God wants us to be and that the world needs us to be. A church that faithfully reflects the One who loved us and gave himself for us. A church that strives to live in the world as He lived. Lovingly. Redemptively. Helpfully. The Gospels proclaim over and over again that Jesus had compassion and out of His compassion He healed the sick, fed the hungry, comforted the grief-stricken, sought reconciliation, and invited others to join Him in the harvest.
If you are visiting the Petaluma area, we’d be glad to have you stop by and worship with us. If you live here and are looking for a warm, loving fellowship that values the biblical story and seeks to find our rightful place in it, we invite you to come and share in the endeavor!
It is our prayer that this little place on the web will give you an idea of who we are and what we’re striving for. And we hope that you’ll find a little insight, a little encouragement, or a link to someone or something that can help you along your way.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
